Serving Gomata — the embodiment of selfless giving, purity, and the Vedic way of life.
Daily care of cows — feeding, bathing, and providing medical attention — is a sacred duty (Dharma). Children learn compassion and responsibility through direct service.
The five products of the cow (milk, curd, ghee, dung, urine) are used in Ayurveda, farming, and rituals. Children understand their holistic value in daily life.
Gomata is revered as the abode of all gods. Her presence purifies the environment and uplifts the consciousness, creating a perfect atmosphere for meditation and study.
Our ashram maintains a small, loving gaushala where indigenous breeds are protected. It serves as a living classroom for sustainable living and Ahimsa.
At Maharshi Ved Vyas Pathshala, the Goushala is not just a shelter — it is a sacred space where children experience the joy of serving living beings. Every morning, students participate in go‑seva: cleaning, feeding, and spending time with the cows. This practice instills humility, gratitude, and a deep reverence for nature.
In the Vedic tradition, the cow is regarded as a mother who nourishes us with her milk and even after her life, her products sustain agriculture and health. Children learn to honour this sacred bond through daily rituals, chanting of mantras like "गोमाता सर्वदेवानां प्रतिमा", and understanding the ecological role of indigenous cattle.
